So long Dirty Mouth

I can't believe it...My friend Reagan says that it takes 28 days to form a habit, or to break one... (it also takes 3 months to get in shape and 3 weeks to get out of shape) and with all that said... for the last 28 days I've been careful with what comes out of my mouth in the heat of the moment... I am no longer that potty mouth girl who says things like @%$# or %$@^&% I don't even use filler words that much, I just don't swear.. IT WAS SO HARD, like that one time when I almost got side swiped on my way home from work...or when this girl came into Velour and was so rude...ugh ^%$@&^, she made me so mad...but no.. I didn't cuss any of those people out and I even held my temper...SURPRISE SURPRISE...
In all honesty I've even had to stop myself mid swear, but I think it's okay, I mean, I went from swearing like a sailor to not in 28 days...give me a break...
hmm...what is there for me to do now...I feel like I can do other things now, what should I work on next...
I have noticed that I am mean...maybe I should work on that....

lisa's right. you aren't mean. i love that blunt side of you! I just love you. And truly, you'd laugh at me today...one of my managers kept using the S**t word. So I said, that must be one of your favorite words! And he appologized a lot, because that's where my deacon question came from. He is one. So then the next time I talked to him he used it again (probably because I usually only go to him with problems) and I laughed and he said sorry. Then, he was in my office and said it again and I said man frank, you just can't stop can you? and he laughed and said I'm so sorry! I don't mean to...and laughed again. And now he's saying shucks, unless he slips, and then it's s**, shucks, SHOOT! Ah! Sorry! Hahahaha. I love it. That's the amusing stuff right there, not even so much that he cusses, cuz you know I don't even notice it!

Good girl. I have Patrice call everyone bitches for me because I don't say that word any more.
xoxoxo
ps that doesn't count I just typed it and it was me saying I don't say it any more
pps your blog title makes me think of my favorite Palomino song 'oh no oh no, I let the truth get out. oh no oh no I miss your dirty mouth...' appropriate for this comment.

THIS IS MY LIFE

There is no use trying, said Alice; one can't believe impossible things. I dare say you haven't had much practice, said the Queen. When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.

I am the queen and this is my year, and nothing, NOTHING is impossible
